Print on brocade

This series of printed works was made with woodcuts on different Chinese brocade fabrics, such as those used to make the traditional qipao dress.

The textile chosen for this series was driven by the appeal of the patterns common to this kind of fabric, such as elements of nature, flowers, trees, clouds… These supports connect directly with the woodland theme planned for the exhibition, entitled Brocade Forest, which in turn linked up to the idea of the place where I live.
